Description
3-day ALPINE SKIING COURSE – BEGINNER/blue (children 7-11yrs - adults)
You consider yourself a beginner or low intermediate skier, who can ski easy (blue) slopes with a snow plough turns and stop in a controlled manner. The 3-day course aims to learn to parallel ski in a controlled manner, use different ski lifts, take steps to more demanding slopes, and become a more confident skier.
3-day ALPINE SKIING COURSE – INTERMEDIATE/red (children from 7 yrs - adults)
You can parallel ski in a controlled manner but might feel insecure on steeper slopes. We develop skiing techniques and how to adapt skills and turns on all types of slopes and conditions.
3-day group lessons are available for children ages 7-11 years and 12 years - adults. The groups are divided into children and adults.
Group lessons start on Mondays. Lessons are held on consecutive days for 1 hour and 30 minutes daily.
There are three starting/skill levels:
Green - First timers, Blue - Beginner, Red - Intermediate
*Each course content and learning path is adapted to the needs and progression of the group.
The language of instruction is primarily English.

Ski School office is open daily from 9 am-5 pm at Zero Point / Front Slopes

Price: 142,00 €/person (not including equipment hire, ski pass)
Schedule for levels Blue - Beginner, Red - Intermediate:
7-11yrs children during weeks 49/'24 - 8/2025
12 yrs - adults during weeks 49/'24 - 14/2025
- MON-WED at 2 - 3.30 pm (weeks 49/2024 - 7/2025) * excp. Week 52 TUE 24 DEC at 12 - 1.30 pm
- MON-WED at 12 -1.30 pm (weeks 8 - 14/2025)
Meeting point: At the bottom of the South Point 8.4 slope, by the ski school skill level signs. The instructor in the blue uniform asks by name when the lesson starts.
Note:
- Please make sure you are on time and at the right meeting place.
- For your information, we cannot promise a change of teaching place or a transfer of already purchased time.
- Levi Ski School has the right to combine groups or offer an alternative lesson and time if there are not enough participants. e.g. with two participants, the course is shortened to 2 day
- Please note that for all ski lifts and in Leevilandia you need a valid ski pass or Leevilandia area ticket during the lesson time. Ski school prices do not include equipment rental or ski passes.
- Equipment needs to be ready/rented before the lesson. Please reserve enough time for equipment rental. Rent equipment from the webstore in advance. We recommend a Superior ski set and a helmet.
- Rentals are located: South Point / South Slopes and Zero Point / Front Slopes
We follow the Finnish Ski Area Association (FSAA) terms of delivery of ski school services.
