Description
High Performance Snowboard Carving – A Deeper Dimension of Riding
Want to take your snowboarding to the next level? This intensive 3‑hour carving course develops your turning technique and gives you confidence, power, and style.
Under the guidance of Levi’s top coaches, you’ll learn to use your board’s edges more effectively, control your angulation, and execute tight, smooth turns – the kind where the board cuts cleanly, and your backside nearly brushes the snow.
We’ll work through practical exercises to help you understand how the board reacts and how to get more out of every turn.
Who is it for?
If you can ride blue and red slopes with reasonably carved turns, this course will take you to the southern blue slopes and the 7.3 red slope. This means you are skill level 2 – an intermediate red‑level rider.
Recommended Boards that support a forward‑facing riding stance
• Directional board
• All‑mountain board
• Freeride board
Recommended binding angles:
• Front binding: approx. +21° to +36°
• Rear binding: approx. 0° to +18°
The course does not include switch riding, so a symmetrical twin board or a fully symmetrical binding setup is not necessary.
