3-day alpine courses - (7yrs-adults) South Point

Description
Skiing Level 1 – Blue: Smoother Turns, More Confidence
You can already snowplough down gentle (blue) slopes, stop in a controlled manner, and use the lift? Great! This course helps you take the next step in your skiing journey. The goal is to transition from basic control to smoother and more confident skiing on a wider range of slopes. During the course, we will practice smoother turns, develop the ability to ski with parallel skis, and explore slightly more challenging terrain, allowing you to gain and build more confidence and overall control of skiing. We’ll also practice using different types of ski lifts to help you move around the slopes more independently and safely.
Goal: Become a more confident skier – and enjoy the slopes like never before!
Skiing Level 2 – Red: Build Confidence and Technique on the Slopes
Already skiing with parallel skis but feel unsure on steeper slopes? This course is designed for skiers who want to take their skills to the next level.
During the course, we focus on developing skiing techniques, carving turns, and skiing with more control and confidence—even on more demanding terrain. You’ll improve your balance, refine your movements, and gain the tools to ski safely and smoothly across all types of slopes.
Goal: Become a more skilled and versatile skier who can adapt their skills/turns to the slope environment.
Duration: 3 days, 3 x 1.5 hours
Groups are divided by age (children aged 7–11 and youth aged +12 – adults) and skill level.
