Description
3-day SNOWBOARDING - FIRST TIMER/green (children from 8 yrs - adults)
You don’t have previous experience in snowboarding. We'll start by learning how to handle the snowboard, moving and sliding on the flat ground. We will practice safe falls and how to get up. On easy slope parts, we learn to slide and turn in both directions and how to stop. During the 3-day course, you will become familiar with ski lift and slope safety. The course aims to learn to snowboard independently on easy/gentle slopes and enjoy your new experience and skills.
3-day SNOWBOARDING - BEGINNER/blue (children from 8 yrs - adults)
You’ve already taken your first steps in snowboarding. You can snowboard down the easy (blue) slopes, but you still feel a bit insecure on your riding and the turns in both directions need to be honed.
We develop turning techniques and link turns smoothly. The goal of the 3-day course is to learn snowboarding in a controlled and smoother way on more demanding slopes. Learning some small snow contact tricks will increase your snowboard skills.
*Each course content and learning path is adapted to the needs and progression of the group.
Group lessons start on Mondays, Lessons are held on consecutive days, 1 hour 30 minutes daily, and spoken in Finnish and English.

Price: 142,00 €/person (not including equipment hire, ski pass)
Schedule for level FIRST TIMER/green:
- MON-WED at 12 - 1.30 pm (weeks 49/2024 - 8/2025) * excp. Week 52 TUE 24 DEC at 10 - 11.30 am
- MON-WED at 10 - 11.30 am (weeks 9 - 14/2025)
Schedule for level BEGINNER/blue:

Meeting point: At the bottom of the South Point slope, on snow at the ski school skill level signs. The instructor in the blue uniform asks by name when the lesson starts.
Note:
- Please make sure you are on time and at the right meeting place.
- For your information, we cannot promise a change of teaching place or a transfer of already purchased time.
- Levi Ski School has the right to combine groups or offer an alternative lesson and time if there are not enough participants. e.g. with two participants, the course is shortened to 2 day
- Please note that for all ski lifts and in Leevilandia you need a valid ski pass or Leevilandia area ticket during the lesson time. Ski school prices do not include equipment rental or ski passes.
- Equipment needs to be ready/rented before the lesson. Please reserve enough time for equipment rental. Rent equipment from the webstore in advance. We recommend a snowboard set and a helmet.
- Rentals are located: South Point / South Slopes and Zero Point / Front Slopes
We follow the Finnish Ski Area Association (FSAA) terms of delivery of ski school services.
