Ski School group lessons

BUY YOUR SKI SCHOOL GROUP LESSON ONLINE. Become a skilled skier/boarder with guidance from our professional instructors!
We offer group courses for various skill levels, as well as private lessons. Check the skill level descriptions.

Group Lessons are held at: 
South Slopes / South Point: November 30, 2026 – May 1, 2027 (private and group lessons)

Book your group course from the webstore at least 2 days before the course starts to secure your spot! You can inquire about available spots at the ski school office.
Private lessons are available daily. Buy private lessons for skiing, snowboarding, or cross-country directly from our webstore.

Good to know:
• By purchasing/booking in advance, you ensure the availability of the lesson and secure your place in the course.
• The languages ​​of instruction are Finnish and English. In some courses, the main language of instruction is English.
• Ski school prices do not include equipment rental or ski passes.
• A valid ski pass or Leevilandia area ticket is required during lessons, depending on your skill level. (Not required for children under 6 wearing a helmet during the lesson). For the first lesson at first-timer level 0, a Leevilandia area ticket is required.
• Wearing a helmet is mandatory during lessons on the slopes.
• You are responsible for having the equipment, ski pass, or area ticket ready at the starting point of the lesson at the agreed time.
• Due to the smooth running of the group course, we cannot accommodate participants who are more than 10 minutes late. In this situation, the fee will not be refunded.
• An already purchased product cannot be changed or rescheduled.
• The ski school has the right to combine groups or offer alternative instruction and times if the minimum number of participants in group courses is not met.

General terms and conditions apply to ski school services.
Cancellation terms include: fully refundable 14 days before the date, less than 14 days before the date, 50% of the price paid, less than 24 hours before the date, no refund. The reservation fee for a lesson or course equals the full price of the session. Prices include VAT 25.5%. Rights to changes reserved.

Levi Ski School is the only eligible operator to practice commercial ski school activities in the slope areas of Levi Ski Resort. Ski Instructors wear Levi Ski School-signed blue outfits.

Description

SNOWBOARDING (8yrs-adults) FOR FIRST TIMERS / Level 0  - Green
You are about to start snowboarding. In this group course, we will learn the basic skills of snowboarding and proper moves right from the beginning. We'll practice moving on flat terrain with the snowboard, how to slide with the board, how to fall safely, and how to get up independently. We'll practice controlling the speed and learn how to make turns. The course takes place in the Leevilandia area on flat terrain and easy parts of the slopes. We'll learn slope safety rules and how to use, e.g., a magic carpet lift.

The course is suitable for adults and children aged 8 and up. Instruction is provided in both Finnish and English.
Please select your preferred date carefully from the calendar.
This program can be purchased up to 24 hours before the course begins.
For the course, you will need equipment, a helmet, and an area ticket.

The office is open daily from 9 am - 5 pm at Zero Point, and from 9 am - 4.30 pm at South Point

Location: South Point, South Slopes (Tievantie 2) 99130 Levi
Meeting point: At the bottom of the South Point slope 8.4, on snow by the ski school skill level signs. The instructor in the blue uniform asks by name when the lesson starts.

Price: 57,00 € / person  (not inc. equipment hire, nor the area ticket)

Note

- You are responsible for having the equipment, ski pass, or area ticket ready at the starting point of the lesson at the agreed time.
- To ensure the smooth running of group lessons, participants arriving more than 10 minutes late cannot join the lesson. No refund will be given in such cases.
- Purchased products cannot be exchanged or rescheduled.
- Ski school prices do not include equipment rental or ski passes/area tickets
- Ski School reserves the right to combine groups or offer alternative instruction or schedules if the minimum number of participants is not met.
- During this course, you will need a Leevilandia area ticket 
- Note that the ski passes and area ticket include use of the Ski Bus.
- Equipment needs to be ready / rented and properly adjusted before the lesson begins. Please reserve enough time (at least 45 minutes -1 hour) for equipment rental. We recommend a snowboard set. Helmet use is mandatory during the lesson time. Purchase the equipment hire from the webstore in advance.
