Ski School private lessons

BUY PRIVATE SKI SCHOOL LESSONS ONLINE.  Private lessons are an effective way to explore a new sport, improve your skills, and gain confidence in skiing and snowboarding. Private lessons are available on the webstore for alpine skiing, snowboarding, and cross-country skiing. Check out the skill level descriptions. Group courses, descriptions, and dates are available here.

Lessons must be booked online at least 3 days in advance. If you cannot find a suitable or available time in the calendar (times are fully booked), an appropriate skill level, or if you are looking for a private lesson in freestyle/park, telemark, or adaptive skiing, please contact us via the booking form. Inquiries within 48 hours: please contact us by phone or on-site.

Lessons are held at:
South Slopes / South Point: November 30, 2026 – May 1, 2027 (private lessons and group courses)
Early season lessons for Front slope will go on sale if snow and slope conditions allow.

Private lessons available daily: 
• 40 min for ages 4–6 years (Nov 30, 2026 – May 1, 2027)
• 1.5 hours for ages 7 - adults (Nov 30, 2026 – May 1, 2027)
• 3 hours for ages 7 - adults (Feb 15 – Apr 25, 2027)

Good to know:

• By purchasing/booking in advance through the online store, you ensure the availability of instruction for your preferred date and time.
• Choose either a private lesson or a group lesson in the online store, the type of lesson, and the lesson that matches your skill level. Carefully select the day, number of participants, and time of the lesson from the calendar. In the additional information fields, indicate, for example, the children's ages and wishes for the lesson.
• The languages ​​of instruction are Finnish and English
• Ski school prices do not include equipment rental or ski passes
• A valid ski pass or Leevilandia area ticket is required during the lesson, depending on skill level (not required for children under 6 wearing a helmet during the lesson). For the first lesson at first timer level lessons, an area ticket is required.
• Wearing a helmet is mandatory during lessons. (does not apply to cross-country skiing)
• You are responsible for having the equipment, ski pass, or area ticket ready at the starting point of the lesson at the agreed time.
• Due to the smooth running of the group course, we cannot accommodate participants who are more than 10 minutes late. In this situation, the fee will not be refunded.
• An already purchased product cannot be changed or rescheduled.
• The ski school has the right to combine groups or offer alternative instruction and times if the minimum number of participants in group courses is not met.

General terms and conditions apply to ski school services.
Cancellation terms include: fully refundable 14 days before the date, less than 14 days before the date, 50% of the price paid, less than 24 hours before the date, no refund.
The reservation fee for a lesson or course equals the full price of the session. Prices include VAT 25.5%. Rights to changes reserved.

 Levi Ski School is the only authorized provider of commercial ski instruction at Levi slopes. Instructors can be recognized by their signature blue Levi Ski School uniforms.

Description

You can book and buy a private 3-hour alpine low-intermediate level 1 skiing lesson for yourself, your child, your family, a group of friends, or a company event. Our instructor will provide personalized guidance tailored to your needs and pace. This 3-hour low-intermediate level 1 lesson is suitable for adults and children (from 7 years onwards) who already know the basics of skiing and can ski gentle slopes in a controlled manner (for children who can focus throughout the lesson and comfortably spend up to three hours on the slopes). 3-hour lesson time slots for levels Blue 1 and Red 2 are available from February 15, 2027, once the natural snow slopes are open.

• A maximum of 8 students can participate in the same lesson, and all participants must be of the same skiing skill level.
• A skier and a snowboarder cannot participate in a lesson; both need an instructor for their respective sport. 

Please ensure that you select the correct date and available time from the calendar. Then, add one instructor/ lesson at a time to the shopping cart. (For multi-day bookings, we’ll do our best to keep the same instructor, but this cannot be guaranteed.)
- The personal information section must indicate the participant's skill level. Write notes, e.g., children's age or wishes for the lesson, in the extra information section.
- Intermediate (red level 2) lessons are available separately.
- We recommend a 1,5 h lesson if you are a first-time skier.
- Please contact the ski school directly via the booking form regarding any special requirements (e.g., park/freestyle, or advanced-level lessons), or if times are no longer available in the calendar.

The office is open daily from 9 am - 5 pm at Zero Point, and from 9 am - 4.30 pm at South Point

Location: South Point, South Slopes (Tievantie 2) 99130 Levi
Meeting point: At the bottom of the South Point slope 8.4, on snow by the ski school "meeting point" -sign. The instructor in the blue uniform asks by name when the lesson starts.

- You are responsible for having the equipment, ski pass, or area ticket ready at the starting point of the lesson at the agreed time.
- An already purchased product cannot be changed or rescheduled.
- Ski school prices do not include equipment rental or ski passes/area tickets.
- Please note that you need a valid ski pass during the lesson time. (not required for children under 6 wearing a helmet during the lesson)
- Note that the ski passes and Leevilandia area ticket include use of the Ski Bus.
- Equipment needs to be ready / rented before the lesson. Please reserve enough time (at least 45 minutes - 1 hour) for equipment rental. Purchase the equipment hire from the webstore in advance. We recommend a standard ski set. Helmet use is mandatory during the lesson time.
